Death of a NationPosted by Debbie on Saturday, November 8, 2008 05:38 pmIt is a sad day, indeed, for our once great nation. Turn out for this past election was less than it was 4 years ago. Amazing, since it was probably THE MOST important presidential election in our country's history. The president elect of our country is a man who hates the flag and what it stands for, hates America, is in favor of not only killing pre-born children, but for killing those born alive after botched abortions. This man considers having a baby out of wedlock to be a punishment. True, we should not be having babies out of wedlock, but once the baby is conceived, killing it is NOT the answer! People have been calling this man the messiah. They have worshiped him as if he were Christ. Where is the moral backbone of this country? What has happened to our sense of patriotism? The bible fortells a coming world government and world religion. Barak Obama said in his speech in Germany that he considers himself to be a citizen of the world. He removed the flag from his plane and put his own logo on it. He has said he would champion the cause of muslim nations above that of the US. I see the election of Barak Obama as a judgement from God against our nation and a furthering of fullfillment of end-time prophecy. My consolation in all of this is that God is still in control and that HE will rule in the end. I look forward to each day now with the hope that it will bring Christ's return for His bride. Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
