Life goes on

Here we are, post election and feeling either aprehensive or giddy at the prospect of an Obama presidency.  I fall into the latter category.  However, I cling to the knowledge that God is in control.  For the time being, I am focusing on the fast approaching holidays and on recouperating from my current illness.  I have a double whammy of sinusitis and bronchitis.  My timing, as always,is most inconvienient.

Each day I rise with baited breath in the hopes that my Lord and Savior, Jesus, will return to bring His bride home to Himself.  Because I know He is unwilling that any should perish, I also know He waits for the last possible moment so that those who would choose Him may do so before the tribulation that is to come is unleashed.  The time waiting is being spent in prayer for those who are still in darkness.

So what is my greatest holiday wish?   That all of my friends, family and neighbors will come to a saving knowlegde of Christ and accept the free gift of His salvation by grace.  Apart from that, I'll take a pony.

                       Merry Christmas from the farm!
