Praise ReportPosted by Debbie on Sunday, February 15, 2009 02:58 pmAfter having a surgical breast biopsy, I found out that I DO NOT have cancer! I was pretty certain it was cancer, as was my doctor. Apparently, it is a rare form of growth that mimics cancer. It wasn't until they did a culture that they determined it wasn't malignant. I will have to have another mammogramin 6 months to see it there are any more growths, though. I wish to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes. Prayer avails much and did so in my case. But mostly, I wish to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus! He has saved me from the pain and expense of cancer treatment. Now I'm trusting Him to help pay for all the medical expenses I have already incurred. As one of millions of uninsured people out there, I have had trouble getting medical care I can afford. Still, I DO NOT want socialized medicine! All you have to do is look to Canada and England to see the reduced quality and availability of care with socialized medicine. I think we still have the best medical care anywhere on Earth. Just because I can't get insurance doesn't mean I would spoil it for everyone else. At least I can get the care I need. I just need help paying for it.
