I'm Plotzing!

Sparrow told me he needed to run to the hardware store for more screws for the goat house this morning, but he was gone an awful long time!  Actually, he went to see the babies without me!  He's making me stay in bed in the hopes I'll FINALLY get over this whatever I have.  He got to hold and feed them and he took a couple of pictures (check out the goat cam page).

We decided to let Hilary name them.  He immediately thought of Nick for the boy(short for Nickelodeon).  I thought Nora for the girl, but Hil couldn't pronounce it.  After bouncing around a few names, Hil decided on Molly, or as he put it, "Nick and Molly.  That's it!"

So, they have names.  My Mom is just as excited as I am and can't wait try her hand at bottle feding them.  She said, "Now I have 15 grandchildren and 2 grandkids!"

By the way, turns out they aren't Nigerian Dwarf goats, but a Nigerian Dwarf Saanen ( pronounced saw-nen), or mini-Saanen goats.  They should stay at around 2 feet tall when full grown.
