Finally!

After living in Shady Hills for nearly 5 years, I've finally found a church home!  I've been to a number of churches in the last 5 years, but none of them felt like home.  I asked the Lord to lead me to the church He wants me in and last month I just drove past it an He said "That's it!"  Turns out, it's less than 2 miles due West of my house!  I've been there 3 Sundays now and I LOVE it!

Aside from finding a church home, I'm happy because spring has sprung.  The trees are getting new leaves and azaleas are in bloom.  The best part is that Millicent, our rogue bantam hen, has a brood of 7 chicks!  They are SO CUTE!  Six of them are dark like Millicent and one is all yellow.

Nick and Molly are as sweet as ever.  They just make me happy ehrn I'm with them.

Meanwhile, egg production is up again.  A few of the hens have been difficult, not wanting to go in their pen for the night.  Flossie is amazing, though.  She actually knows her name and comes to me when I call her.

She even looks right at my face, unlike the other chickens.  She's the one that lays the pretty blue eggs.  I named her after my grandmother and her personality is so much like Nana's it's spooky.

The Spring Hill Amateur Radio Club keeps me busy, too.  Field day grows ever nearer and I need to pound the pavement looking for food donations.

Each day I just seem to grow more in love with my wonderful husband, Sparrow, and I seek to grow closer to my dear Lord and Savior, Jesus!
