Happy Birthday, Daniel!Posted by Debbie on Friday, August 17, 2012 02:47 pmJust want to tell my oldest, son, Daniel, Happy Birthday. I hope you are well and happy. Please know that I love you very much! It's hard to believe that my son is going to be 28 years old. It seems only yesterday I was rocking him to sleep as a baby. They tell you that the years of childhood go quickly. As children it doesn't seem like that. Time goes interminably slow at that stage of life. However, once you have children of your own, the time seems to go in the blink of an eye. I am reminded of this every time I see my neighbor's children. It seems they have grown half a foot every time I see them. As adults, things can seem static, but when you see a child growing, you marvel at just how fast they reach adulthood. So, all you parents of young children out there, trasure the moment. Take time out from your busy schedules to just enjoy the journey while you can. I know it's a cliche, but childhood does slip away like sand through a seive. Again, Happy Birthday, Daniel! Much love, Mom
