Time is short!Posted by Debbie on Sunday, September 8, 2013 09:58 pmHere we are, winding down 2013, and the world teeters on the brink of yet another world war. If you haven't been paying attention because you're too busy watching America's Got Talent or you're immersed in social media, the Middle East is a tinderbox getting ready to explode. Meanwhile, our freedoms are rapidly being taken away from us as the government furthers its intrusion of personal privacy and freedom. Christians are being persecuted and slaughtered all over the world for their beliefs. The US is fast catching up to the rest of the world in its intolerance of bible believing Christians. Anti-semitism is again on the rise. The world's economy is inflated to the point of bursting. Civil unrest is rampant. All these things Jesus warned would happen before His return. In light of all of this, it is hard not to despair. What we need to remember is that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL! All these things must take place before our Lord can return. So, what should we do? Look up, be watchful, for our Lord is coming soon! If you have friends and loved ones who don't know Christ as their savior, don't wait to tell them the Good News! We can't worry about offending someone with the truth if we know that without that truth they are headed for destruction.
