God Doesn't Grade on a Curve

There seems to be a prevailing belief in the world that as long as your good deeds are more than your bad, you'll get into heaven.  Or that God is so loving and forgiving that he'll just give everyone a pass and let them in.  Yes, God IS loving and forgiving.  He loved us all SO MUCH that He became a man and suffered for the forgiveness of all our sins.  However, God is also righteous.  He is also perfect and we cannot come before  His throne in unrighteousness and imperfection.

Now, you may say, I'm not perfect, but I'm better than other people I know.  Surely, He will overlook my shortcomings.  What about Karma? God is above "Karma".  God is so Holy that we cannot stand before him having committed even one sin.  but who can live their life without committing ANY sins?  Only one person ever did--Jesus Christ.

God will not turn a blind eye to the sins we commit. He will judge us all and punish or reward us according to our works.  But, without accepting Christ and His substitutionary attonement for our sins on the cross, there is NO WAY to the Father.  By turning to Him, He washes our sins away and we put on HIS righteousness.

Don't trust your fate to your own works or think God will just grade us all on a curve.  Don't trust in the bell curve, trust in the cross!
