Erotic VS Religious Liberty and Hypocrisy in the N

It's all over the news.  States are deciding whether churches, hospitals, schools, and businesses owned and operated by religious groups have the right to stand by their convictions and refuse to do things contrary to their beliefs, even if it means going against the newly recognized gay "rights" agenda.  Now, we all saw this coming.
Judge Antonin Scalia warned about this.  Pandora's box has been opened and there's no chance of closing it.  The horses are out of the barn.  The genie is out of the bottle.
But enough of the corny metaphors.  We are seeing the collision of two opposing world views and they both cannot seem to stand together.  At least the LGBT side won't seem to allow it.  Not only do they want their so-called "rights", they insist that everyone  abide by them and agree with them.  Anyone who disagrees with them are called into question and now are even to be ostracized, and prosecuted!  You don't want to bake my wedding cake!  How dare you!  Instead of just going to another bakery the evil Christian must be prosecuted and persecuted!  And now, if a state dares to suggest that Christians shouldn't be penalized for standing up for their beliefs, they are to be penalized, too!
The NFL has come out and said that if Georgia passes a law protecting the rights of churches and business that they will not hold the superbowl in Atlanta.  They point to their non-discrimination policy which states,"There will be no discrimination in any form against any player by the Management Council, any Club or by the NFLPA because of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientaion, or activity or lack of activity on behalf of the NFLPA."
HMMM?  They emphasize the sexual orientation part, but seem to skip over the religion part!
Am I the only one to see this glaring hypocrisy?    I suppose it will only be a matter of time before just writing a blog such as this will mean that I will have an angry mob coming after me, too, or I'll end up in jail.  So be it.
