RIP America!Posted by Debbie on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 07:23 amI know, you may think I am being too pessimistic. There is SOME hope, surely. Well, I am sorry to say, I don't think there is any hope left. What was once a great nation is now gasping its last breaths and I don't see that there is any way of reviving it. It's just too far gone. There is a point of no return and we've passed it. Not only have we passed it, we are hurtling out of control. It's not that I was taken by surprise. The bible fortold of the events that we see unfolding. What has surprised me is the rapidity that society is crumbling before my eyes. Reason and sanity has vanished. The nation is sinking under debt that it can never repay, infrastructure that is crumbling and it doesn't seem to want to repair, an education system that has only made a generation of people who cannot think for themselves(which was, of course, by design), total lack of morality, a system in which criminals' rights are protected above victims', and I could go on. And what are we arguing about? Bathrooms. As John Loeffler of Steel on Steel says, we're like people on the Titanic arguing about deck chairs as the ship sinks. There WAS some hope for America, as long as we supported Israel, God's chosen people. God held back His judgement as long as we did that. However, the current administration has chosen to throw Israel under the bus, and so, God took His hand of restraint away. There is no mention of the US in end times bible prophecy and it always puzzled bible scholars, considering how powerful the US was. Surely God would have made mention of it somewhere, they reasoned. They only explaination is that something must happen to the US in the end times to make it no longer of any consequence, no longer the great world power it once was. The only scenarios they could envisage were ones of great confligration, such as neuclear war or perhaps the rapture taking away all the great leaders. They never thought it would happen during one president's tenure and from rotting from within. Well, Obama has been looking for a legacy for his presidency. I think he's found it!
